Using a three cask maturation, The Dalmore Trio is a captivating marriage of rare and exceptional casks. The liquid is initially matured in American white oak ex-bourbon casks. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes. The whisky is apportioned between first fill ex-bourbon casks, 10 Year Old Tawny port pipes and 30 Year Old Matusalem sherry casks. The three parts are then brought back together to harmonise. Bursting with ripe plums and berries with hints of sweet spices, The Dalmore Trio is a perfect beginning to the discovery of Single Malt.
