First matured in ex-Bourbon barrels for 12 years and finished for four years in Ruby Port casks, sourced from the Douro valleys most remarkable houses. Ruby Port gives Bowmore another level of sweetness and fruitiness in casks that have already been seasoned with Bordeaux to give a less dry finish.
