The Lost Blend di Royal Salute, invecchiato 21 anni, è meticolosamente realizzato combinando rari whisky provenienti da distillerie non più in produzione, insieme a una selezione di eccezionali whisky scozzesi di malto e cereali. Queste distillerie chiuse vengono spesso definite "distillerie perdute" e il Master Blender di Royal Salute, Sandy Hyslop, ha selezionato manualmente solo i liquidi più avvincenti dalla sua collezione di botti per creare questa rara espressione. Racchiusa in un flacone di porcellana splendidamente realizzato, la miscela insostituibile presenta al centro la distilleria imperiale "perduta". Chiamata così in onore della monarchia britannica, la distilleria fu creata nello stesso anno del Giubileo di diamante della regina Vittoria e fu sormontata da una corona in ghisa dorata in omaggio all'evento epocale. Royal Salute's 21 year old The Peated Blend is meticulously crafted combining scarce whiskies from distilleries no longer in production, together with a selection of exceptional malt and grain Scotch whiskies. These closed distilleries are often referred to as ‘lost distilleries’ and Royal Salute's Master Blender Sandy Hyslop hand-selected only the most compelling liquids from his collection of casks to create this rare expression. Housed in a beautifully crafted porcelain flagon, the irreplaceable blend features the ’lost’ Imperial Distillery at its heart. Named in honour of the British monarchy, the distillery was created in the same year as Queen Victoria’s Diamond Jubilee and was topped with a gilded cast iron crown in tribute to the momentous event.
