The Creation: Le Jardin de Monsieur Li eau de toilette evokes a Chinese garden poised between reality and imagination. Perfumer Jean-Claude Ellena tells the story of a fragrance dotted with flowers, water, trees, and rocks. Olfactory Notes: Floral and vegetal, Le Jardin de Monsieur Li eau de toilette juxtaposes delicate sambac jasmine, tangy kumquat and explosive bergamot in a harmonious fusion. The Object: Designed by Fred Rawyler, the emblematic “lantern bottle” is inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages. Its glass is in a delicate yellow gradient, a nod to the traditional Chinese imperial color. Painted by artist Li Xin, a river of ink in a thousand shades of anthracite decorates the box.
