THE CREATION Inspired by today’s bold, irreverent young girls, Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel created Twilly d’Hermès in 2017, embodying the free spirit of a tribe of girls who like to reappropriate the house’s design codes. OLFACTORY NOTES The floral, spicy Eau de Parfum expresses its impertinence through candied ginger, delicate tuberose and milky notes of sandalwood. BOTTLE Designed by Florence Manlik, the lantern-shaped bottle has a square silhouette and a cloudy, coral pink colour. With a final flourish, a hand-tied silk ribbon playfully embellishes the cap of each bottle. Each silk ribbon is unique. THE HERMÈS DETAIL The Twilly d’Hermès family of perfumes evokes the Hermès silk métier on two fronts: it calls to mind the house’s silk twill scarf as well as the twilly, a small, joyful, colourful silk ribbon that can be worn in countless ways. "It is with young women in mind, by observing their lives, that I created Twilly d’Hermès. Free, bold, connected, mischievous and irreverent, they turn expectation on its head, swim against the tide, impose their own rhythm, invent a brand new tempo." Combined differently, they become searing spice, disconcerting attraction, a revelation of the carnal. In a final flash of wit, a hand-tied silk ribbon playfully graces the bottle.
