A confidant of Gertrude Bell and trusted ally of Lawrence of Arabia, Faisal was a born leader and a legendary figure in Arab history. The fragrance's intense smokiness is the result of a daring alliance between a rare and prized natural oud essence from Laos and an extraordinarily complex lapsang souchong tea accord. Evoking the scent of the saddles of Arabian thoroughbreds, the Lapsang Souchong accord-built around cade oil and maté absolute-imparts its smoky, leathery nuances in the top notes along with clove, then yields to a heart of leather and the voluptuous woodiness of cedar and sandalwood.
