To make Benriach Quarter Cask, Benriach spirit is first matured in bourbon barrels, then undergoes a second maturation in custom quarter casks.

These smaller barrels allow for greater interaction between wood and spirit, intensifying maturation for depth and richness of flavor to create layers of glazed orchard fruit and rich vanilla, finishing with notes of ripe barley and oak spice.

Everything in perfect balance.

Benriach Quarter Cask shares the same orchard fruit character as BenRiach 10, but the more dominant use of bourbon creates richer vanilla notes with nutty oak spice.

Intense maturation in quarter barrels also brings balanced notes of spicy oak with rich vanilla.

This is the only quarter-barrel expression currently permanently available in global travel retail.

A Speyside single malt Scotch Whisky as intriguing and extraordinary as Benriach could not have been without a unique legacy in whisky making, dating back to 1898, when founder John Duff built his distillery.

Wildly beautiful, Benriach stands on the site of the old Riach farm in northern Speyside and draws water from a mineral-rich aquifer deep beneath the distillery.
