The Chianti Classico area stretches between Florence and Siena. Thanks to the altitude of this hilly region, the vineyards benefit from better ventilation, reducing the incidence of disease and the risk of over-ripening, which would give the grapes hints of cooked fruit. The continental climate, mitigated by the proximity of the sea, is characterized by mild winters and hot, dry summers, with marked temperature swings between day and night.

The shallow soil is composed of clay, sand and stones, characteristics that contribute to the quality of the grapes.
