Barolo is a popular red wine from Langhe, Piedmont. It owes its name to a feud owned by the Marquises of Falletto, who created this wine at the beginning of the 19th century. It is produced from Nebbiolo grapes harvested around mid-October. It goes through an aging in oak barriques for two years and it can be sold after January 1st of the third year after harvesting.
