Bumbu Rum The Original 40% 70cl

The original Bumbu Rum Company Rum is inspired by a recipe drunk by pirates and merchants during the 16th and 17th centuries. This modern interpretation takes sugar cane from eight Caribbean islands before distilling in a historic distillery in Barbados, established in 1893. Bumbu Original is matured in ex-bourbon barrels for up to fifteen years and then blended with pure Bajan water filtered through coral limestone rocks. in Barbados for a smooth and balanced rum that is complex and deep. On the nose, banana aromas are prominent with the sweetness of cinnamon and vanilla. On the palate, ripe rum and natural spices bring rich complexity. Sweet and smooth, a big hit of vanilla is followed by orange peel, banana and mango. Subtle fresh herbaceous notes and a touch of dry tobacco emerge along with the spices, making it an excellent spicy sipper.
