Hermès calèche Soie parfum 100ml EDP - 5023106

THE CREATION
Created by perfumer Guy Robert in 1961, Hermès's first women's fragrance, Calèche, was reinterpreted in 1992 as Calèche Soie de Parfum, whose name refers to horse-drawn carriages, an iconic symbol of the maison and its tradition in silk.

OLFACTIVE NOTES
Floral with aldehyde aromas, Calèche Soie de Parfum combines the refined notes of aldehydes with the opulence of jasmine and the generosity of rose.

THE OBJECT
The bottle, inspired by carriage lanterns, features a black cap reminiscent of a riding hat. The label on the back is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas, indicating that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.

THE PARFUMS-FONDATEURS COLLECTION
The Parfums-Fondateurs collection draws inspiration from the maison's heritage. Each creation encapsulates the imaginary universe of Hermès in a name, a fragrance, and a color. Over the years, Hermès has charted a bold style in perfumery, the result of encounters with exceptional perfumers.

Calèche, written in 1961 by Guy Robert, was Hermès' first women's fragrance. A highly feminine, woody chypre floral whose name evokes the horse-drawn carriages that are emblematic of the maison.
Calèche is a novel that dazzles with the beauty of its raw materials, from the joy of citrus to the modernity of the aldehydate notes; from the floral heart embellished with ylang-ylang, rose and jasmine to the woody, chypre sillage, underscored by the nobility of iris.
