As with the silhouettes of the fashion House, each composition of Atelier des Fleurs celebrates natural beauty and flowing motion. With Cedrus Eau de Parfum, Atelier des Fleurs reveals the unexplored facets of cedar. The perfumer Quentin Bisch crafted a fragrance of ultimate fluidity, achieved through a trio of cedar, vetiver, and sandalwood. Typically dry, the cedar becomes as supple as silk, in contrast to an abstract florality. The fragrance is brightened by vetiver and pink peppercorns. Its creamy texture, enriched with benzoin, is refined by ambrettolide for a hint of musk. Cedrus then unfolds as a soft, balsamic, ambery woodiness, enhanced by vertical floral notes.
The iconic essence is reinvented in a limited-edition perfume bottle designed by French artist Anne-Sophie Barlet. The fashion illustrator sublimates the label and outerpack, drawing inspiration from the fluidity and texture of cedar. Her design unites luminosity and contrast, in a nod to the brand's timeless aesthetic. The pattern alternates graceful, diaphanous branches, drawn in airy lines, with touches that recall the cedar's needles. Green, beige and brown watercolor shades enhanced with black dashes capture the suppleness of the note. The bottle reveals the delicate nuances of the fragrance through its glass walls, with a beige, sand-colored textured cap.
