Using maturation in three barrels, The Dalmore Trio is an appealing combination of rare and exceptional casks. The liquid is initially matured in former American white oak bourbon barrels. This gives its first base of soft vanilla and honey notes. The whiskey is split between first-fill ex-bourbon casks, 10-year-old Tawny Port pipes and 30-year-old Matusalem sherry casks.
