THE CREATION Composed by perfumer Guy Robert in 1961, Calèche was Hermès' first women's fragrance. Its name echoes the house's emblematic carriages: a light and elegant horse-drawn means of transport from the 19th century. OLFACTORY NOTES A floral fragrance with aldehydes aromas, Calèche eau de toilette is a very feminine blend of delicate aldehydes, floating jasmine and light rose. THE OBJECT The bottle, inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages, has a black cap reminiscent of a horseman's hat. The back label is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas, indicating that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.
