THE CREATION.

Composed by perfumer Guy Robert in 1961, Calèche was Hermès' first women's fragrance. Its name is reminiscent of the carriages that are emblematic of the house: a light and elegant horse-drawn means of transport from the 19th century.

OLFACTORY NOTES.

A floral fragrance with aldehydic aromas, Calèche eau de toilette is a very feminine blend of delicate aldehydes, steamy jasmine and light rose.

THE SUBJECT.

The bottle, inspired by carriage lanterns, has a black cap reminiscent of a riding hat. The label on the back is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas, indicating that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.
