Hermès Rocabar EDT 100ml

THE CREATION Composed by perfumer Gilles Romey in 1998, Rocabar was inspired by the equestrian world. A contraction of the English word rug and the French words à barres (meaning striped), its name alludes to the traditional saffron-colored wool horse blanket with red and blue stripes made in Hermès ateliers. OLFACTORY NOTES With a woody, amber character, Rocabar men's eau de toilette combines the warm notes of cedar with lively cypress and enveloping, balsamic benzoin. THE OBJECT The bottle, inspired by the lanterns of horse-drawn carriages, has a black cap reminiscent of a horseman's hat. The back label is illustrated with a drawing by Philippe Dumas, indicating that it belongs to the Parfums-Fondateurs collection.
