Rocca delle Macie Chianti Classico Riserva 75cl

A symbolic wine of the area from which it comes and the utmost expression of its peculiarities, it proudly bears the name Zingarelli on the label to underscore the family's strong bond with the Chianti Classico territory. It is the result of the selection of the best grapes from Rocca delle Macìe's four estates in the territory of Castellina in Chianti, a blend of the different "terroirs" of Rocca delle Macìe. Grapes 90% Sangiovese and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon and 5% Colorino (from the 2015 vintage) combine to create this ruby red wine with aromas of black currant and morello cherry, with notes of Peruvian bell pepper and sweet spices. Its balance makes it a suitable accompaniment to a variety of dishes, but it is also an excellent match for a good aged cheese. Serve at 16/18°C.
