Rocca delle Macìe expands its family with an eighth "DOCG," inaugurating in 2012 its presence in one of the world's most famous wine territories, the Brunello di Montalcino area. After careful selection of grapes located on an east-south hillside in the municipality of Montalcino, the traditional winemaking process follows, with maceration on the skins for 12-14 days. The wine matures for three years in large Slavonian oak barrels and then ages in the bottle for about 4-6 months. It is particularly suitable for red meats, game and dry cheeses. It can be stored for a long period of time. Serve at 16/18°C.
