Conceived in 1989 as an 'experimental laboratory,' Atelier Versace focuses on innovation and research in design, materials and technology. The entire haute couture collection is created in Versace's Milanese Atelier, starting from the aesthetic research and visionary design, all the way through hundreds of hours of meticulous workmanship by hand. Atelier has always represented a celebration of the origins for Versace, a reminder of Gianni and Donatella's mother, a dressmaker who passed on the family's sartorial traditions from her studio. The relentless pursuit of the highest quality materials and craftsmanship has been translated into the creation of a line of six exclusive and luxurious fragrances bearing the Atelier Versace name. They embody the Atelier's absolute dedication to excellence, encompassing a studious approach to exceptional quality components, innovative techniques, hand-craftsmanship and the distinct Atelier Versace aesthetic. Evoking the sartorial savoir-faire of the Atelier, the perfumes are kept in entirely hand-made packaging. The lighter, fresher fragrances are stored in clear, transparent glassware, while the more intense scents boast sleek black bottles. Created by an innovative twisting technique, the glass is enriched with the name of the fragrance written in a gold tone. Hand-crafted metal caps boast a three-dimensional Medusa motif. Sculptural bottles are packed into paper boxes embellished by a gold-tone Greek Key border painted by hand. The boxes reveal a mirror that feature the Atelier Versace logo painted in a gold tone. Evoking an Italian summer, Figue Blanche was concocted by perfumer Marypierre Julien who strives to reveal something unexpected in the most familiar notes. She was inspired by the spirit of 'la belle-vie' and from Italy, 'dolce far niente' meaning the good life, enjoying sunshine, great wine & food and the sweetness of doing nothing! Figue Blanche starts out with top notes of Italian bergamot oil, Madagascan black pepper oil and Italian mandarin, which then give way to a heart of jasmine sambac absolute, rose absolute and a white fig accord. A dry-down of carrot seed oil, Somalian incense, cedarwood and ambrettolide rounds out this unexpected Floral-Fruity eau de parfum.

Atelier Versace was founded in 1989 as an "experimental laboratory," with a focus on innovation and research in design, materials and technology. The entire haute couture collection is created in Versace's Milan Atelier, beginning with aesthetic research and visionary design and ending with hundreds of hours of meticulous craftsmanship.
Atelier has always been a celebration of Versace's origins, a tribute to Gianni and Donatella's mother, a seamstress who passed on the family sartorial tradition. The constant search for the finest materials and workmanship results in the creation of a line of six exclusive and luxurious fragrances bearing the name Atelier Versace. These fragrances embody the Atelier's absolute dedication to excellence, with attention to components of exceptional quality, innovative techniques, handcrafting, and the unmistakable Atelier Versace aesthetic.
Evoking the sartorial savoir-faire of the Atelier, the fragrances are housed in entirely handmade packaging. The lighter, fresher fragrances are encased in transparent bottles, while the more intense ones boast glossy black bottles. The glass, worked with an innovative twisting technique, is embellished with the fragrance name in gold tones. The metal caps, also handcrafted, feature a three-dimensional Medusa. The sculptural bottles are housed in paper cases decorated with a hand-painted gold Greek border. Inside is a mirror with the Atelier Versace logo also in gold.
Figue Blanche evokes the Italian summer and was created by perfumer Marypierre Julien, inspired by the spirit of the "belle-vie" and the all-Italian concept of "dolce far niente": enjoying the sun, good wine, food, and the sweetness of doing nothing.
Figue Blanche opens with top notes of Italian bergamot oil, Madagascar black pepper oil, and Italian mandarin, which give way to a heart of jasmine sambac absolute, rose absolute, and white fig accord. The base is composed of carrot seed oil, Somalian frankincense, cedarwood and ambrettolide for a striking floral-fruity eau de parfum.
