Conceived in 1989 as an "experimental laboratory," Atelier Versace focuses on innovation and research in design, materials and technology. The entire haute couture collection is created in Versace's Milanese Atelier, beginning with aesthetic research and visionary design and ending with hundreds of hours of meticulous handcrafting.

Atelier has always been a celebration of origins for Versace, a reminder of Gianni and Donatella's mother, a seamstress who passed on the family's sartorial traditions from her studio. The relentless pursuit of the highest quality materials and craftsmanship has resulted in the creation of a line of six exclusive and luxurious fragrances bearing the name Atelier Versace. They embody the Atelier's absolute dedication to excellence, which includes a studious approach to components of exceptional quality, innovative techniques, craftsmanship and the distinct Atelier Versace aesthetic.

Evoking the sartorial savoir-faire of the Atelier, the perfumes are stored in entirely handmade packaging. The lighter, fresher fragrances are stored in transparent glass containers, while the more intense scents boast elegant black bottles. Created using an innovative twisting technique, the glass is embellished with the name of the fragrance written in a golden hue. Handcrafted metal caps boast a three-dimensional Medusa motif.

The sculptural bottles are packaged in paper boxes embellished with a hand-painted gold Greek key border. The boxes reveal a mirror that features the Atelier Versace logo painted in a golden hue. Another collaboration with Nathalie Lorson, Jasmin au Soleil highlights jasmine flowers from India that are picked at dawn to preserve their freshness. At the top, alongside the morning absolute of jasmine, is jasmine tea, which then gives way to a heart of freesia and bright, juicy lemon primrose.

French beeswax adds balsamic and honey notes with hints of hay and tobacco to the dry-down, giving a light, velvety dimension to the scent. These sensual tones are combined with Alaskan cedarwood to complete this sensual floral eau de parfum.
