THE CREATION
Created by Hermès perfumer Christine Nagel in 2006, Galop d'Hermès was inspired by the equestrian universe and embodies freedom of movement: "At Hermès, I discovered the true femininity of leather. I composed Galop d'Hermès as a painting with two materials that are emblematic for Hermès and for perfumery: leather and rose."

OLFACTORY NOTES
A floral and leathery fragrance, Galop d'Hermès features notes of opulent rose and soft leather along with elegant saffron.

ETHICS
The 50 ml bottle can be refilled with a Galop d'Hermès refill, equipped with a funnel-shaped filler cap that fits neatly into the neck of the bottle. A responsible gesture, an integral part of an object created to last.

HERMÈS DETAIL
Originally created as a gift for guests invited to the opening of the first Hermès store in New York on August 1, 1930, the object was later carefully preserved in the Conservatoire des créations Hermès. It was redesigned to become the Galop d'Hermès stirrup bottle. "At Hermès I discovered all the femininity of leather. I composed Galop d'Hermès as a painting with two main colors... Two raw materials emblematic for Hermès and for perfumery: leather and rose." Christine Nagel Galop d'Hermès is a contemporary manifesto expressing absolute freedom in female expression and in a perfume. The leather enlivens the rose and the rose draws the leather away in a fiery dance.
