Balsamic Vinegar of Modena PGI is produced using centuries-old artisanal techniques. A special amalgam of regional grape musts is mixed with a small percentage of wine vinegar. The blend is then slowly aged in oak barrels. Like our Condiments Del Borgo, Balsamic Vinegar of Modena comes in three distinct types for different gastronomic needs, each with a special label. All Balsamic Vinegar of Modena products have undergone an aging process. It is particularly suitable as a condiment for meat, fish or vegetables. Adding a few drops to sauces at the end of cooking gives them a pleasantly tart note. Aged for a full, rounded flavor, Orange Label Balsamic Vinegar is also delicious on roasted or grilled meats.
