Tequila and Mezcal

The term Mezcal or Mescal is used to identify agave spirits, of which Tequila is a particular variant made exclusively from azul agave. More than 30 different types of agave can be used for Mezcal, but without added sugar. The result is a rougher and more complex taste than Tequila, preferred by those seeking strong sensations.
