Quartz Watches

A quartz watch is a type of watch in which the measurement of the passage of time is determined by the oscillations of a quartz crystal. Its accuracy is ensured by the fact that an error of oscillation is divided over time, far exceeding the accuracy of mechanical movements classified as chronometer, due to the high frequency of vibration (32 kHz). The quartz movement gives the watch excellent lasting accuracy.
